My vote goes to Queen Elizabeth II. She, along with Churchill and, to a lesser extent, FDR, qualify as heroes for their civilian leadership during WWII. I’d like to meet her.

Very Good Article! I would like to pass this on to another venue, because you are right on target. The majority of American citizens do feel that politician’s are only looking out for themselves and have the mind set of “Politics As Usual”. Our generation can make a difference, when we voice our concerns and vote our convictions! Thank You for your stand.

Thank you for the touching reminder of why I truly love America!
Again, I am brought back to the fact that the freedom I enjoy, and often take for granted, is because of the sacrifices that our military men and women pay for us to have it!
I also like the flair of reality you throw in, using the common day to day thoughts and fears we all have ~ It does make us look on our freedom with a new perspective!
