These days, we need people we can look up to – we need a hero. Who is your hero? Who would your hero be if you could pick one? What common man or woman rose above it all and did what needed to be done, without regard to the consequences.

My vote goes to Queen Elizabeth II. She, along with Churchill and, to a lesser extent, FDR, qualify as heroes for their civilian leadership during WWII. I’d like to meet her.
